The wine

This wine has a cherry-red colour and its aromatic structure is also reminiscent of cherries and various spices. On the palate, there is a wonderful interplay between the fruit of Pinot Noir, the minerality of the slate soil of the Ahr, subtle roasted flavours, smoky wood and notes of cocoa and coffee. A little acidity with floral traces on the finish. The velvety Pinot Noir -B- shows a successful interplay of power and elegance that has already won over our German President and the Vatican.

The hand-picked grapes are matured for at least 12 months in barrels made from the unique Ahr oak (1st and 2nd exposure).
